ABOUT VELUM
Your Saju,
in words you understand.
VELUM calculates your Saju, the Korean reading of the four pillars of your birth, from the day and time you were born, and explains it in words you actually understand. It is not a reading you finish once. It is a conversation you can come back to whenever a new question comes up. VELUM is currently in a private beta, by invitation.
HOW IT GOES
Tell, read, then keep asking.
Tell VELUM your birth details once; your briefing and every conversation build on them.
- 01BIRTH INFO
- Enter the date, time and place you were born, and VELUM calculates your Saju from them. If you don't know the time, that's fine: VELUM calculates what is known and never makes up the rest.
- 02BRIEFING
- When the calculation is done, your first briefing arrives. It runs in seven parts: your chart, who you are, where things get hard, where you do best, who fits you, your Saju marks, and your current ten years and this year. Each part says its reading first and folds the reasons underneath.
- 03CHAT
- After the briefing, ask whatever you want. VELUM answers first; open EVIDENCE to see where in your chart the answer comes from. Two questions worth asking next wait under each answer.
- 04MATCH
- To read someone with you, save their birth details and pick them in the conversation. VELUM lays the two charts side by side and says plainly where you pull together, where you clash, and where it goes.

- A reader who sits with you and talks. The voice is warm; the reading is never watered down. You get the good side and the caution together.
- ABYSS
- Tap ABYSS beside the logo and the screen turns dark for a second voice. ABYSS doesn't counsel and doesn't comfort. It reads the pattern you keep explaining away and says it first, including what your strengths cost you. It tells you how only when you ask. If you're worn out, come back to VELUM.

VELUM says plainly what it reads in your chart. What you do with it is yours.
- SAME CALCULATION
- VELUM and ABYSS read the same calculation. Only the voice differs: neither changes the calculation or invents a fact.
- WRITTEN BY AI
- VELUM and ABYSS are AI, not people. VELUM calculates your chart by fixed rules, and AI writes the words that explain it.
- YOUR RECORDS
- Your birth details, briefing and conversations stay on this device, not on VELUM's servers. To move them, download a backup file from chat history.
- STRAIGHT ANSWERS
- VELUM doesn't talk around things. Who you are, where things are heading, whether it will work out: it says what your chart shows. Diagnosing an illness, guaranteeing an investment or settling a legal outcome stays with professionals in those fields.
- BIRTHPLACES
- Birthplace coordinates and time zones come from the US Census Bureau and from GeoNames (geonames.org, CC BY 4.0). The clock in force at each place and date comes from the IANA time zone database.
